Terri Hemmert is an outstanding role model for young women, is passionate about music, and in addition to being a well known radio personality on WXRT-FM, Chicago ...

Terri served on the Board of Directors of the Peace Museum, Facets Multimedia and other not-for-profit groups.

She teaches the History of Rock and Soul in the broadcasting department of Columbia College Chicago.

She volunteered with the Inner City Teaching Corps and Latin School of Chicago, teaching classes on the Roots of Rap, Women in Music, and Classical Music’s influence on Rock and Soul.

She works on music education programs with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in her spare time.

She served on the advisory board of WRSE-FM (the Elmhurst College student radio station).

She volunteered with the AIDS Pastoral Care Network.

She Is an active member of her church and sings in the choir.
