Laurel E. Schumm
Laurel Schumm lives in Western Springs with her husband Eric and their three children. Their two sons attend Lyons Township High School and their daughter, Julia, is a seventh grader at McClure Junior High and a proud member of Ragazze.
Laurel has dedicated a significant amount of her time and talents over many years to support a variety of non-profit organizations in a board, volunteer and teaching capacity including the Thomas Ford Memorial Library, The Western Springs Historical Society, Western Springs Foundation for Educational Excellence, School District 101 and the St. John of the Cross Catholic Religious Education program. She is thrilled to add Spirito! to the list of valued organizations where she invests her time and energy!
Laurel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from Miami University Ohio and a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Business Ethics from Loyola University Chicago, IL.
In her professional life, Laurel is currently Director of Technology & In-Restaurant Fundraising Operations for McDonald’s Corporation/Ronald McDonald House Charities Global (RMHC). She currently leads the development and stewardship of the RMHC Global Technology Strategy: RMHC Corporate; Chapter development, support and integration; Infrastructure and Security; and, RMHC Donation Activation in McDonald’s restaurants.
