Kelsey Roberts

Virtual Class Instructor

As a proud Spirito Singers alumna, Kelsey Roberts is thrilled to be teaching classes this fall. She has previously taught private lessons to Spirito ensemble members in subjects including music theory, sight singing and ear training. In addition to working individually with students, Kelsey has lead workshops and classes at York High School’s Summer Theater Conservatory, including a four-week intensive on musical theater solo performance.

Kelsey has been singing and performing classical repertoire for the past twelve years and studying musical theater for the past seven, including four years at Syracuse University where she earned her BFA in Musical Theater. In addition to performing professionally in shows such as Hairspray, Mary Poppins and Godspell, she recently performed with Disney Cruise Line on the waters surrounding North America. She has enjoyed performing at and producing cabarets at renowned New York City venues such as Broadway Sessions and 54 Below. Starting in 2020, she has spent her time in New York City furthering her studies in musical theater and pop/contemporary technique.

Spirito Singers is a treble choral organization made up of two auditioned choirs for 5th - 8th grade singers and 9th - 12th grade singers. Rehearsal sites are located in the western Chicagoland area. Spirito Singers also proudly presents the Men of Spirito, an ensemble for men 18 years of age and older that performs stand alone and with our treble choirs.
