Age Requirement: Young women entering 9th - 12th grade
Excellent intonation and purity of tone
Ability to learn vocal lines after just a few repetitions
Knowledge of major and minor key signatures
Solfège identification and music reading fluency
Where: Elmhurst knights of Columbus Hall, So York Rd, Elmhurst
Time: Sunday afternoons, 1:00 – 2:15 pm or 2:30 – 3:45 pm
Remote sectional rehearsal begin mid-January, live rehearsals begin mid-February.
Concerts, Service & Tour - Bravura will be the featured ensemble for the major Spirito concert in June.
Concert, Recording and Touring Ensemble
Spirito’s premier ensemble, Bravura features breathtaking, 4 to 8-part harmonies for soprano and alto voices; and outstanding soloists. Bravura performs at major concerts at home as a standalone ensemble, as well as with Ragazze only, or with Ragazze and the Men of Spirito. They also perform on one major tour in an American city each year.

Curriculum: Choral artistry and musicianship will continue to be developed. However, the entire rehearsal is spent on repertoire.
Please note: Bravura rehearsals are run in a professional format, expecting each participant to be focused, energized, and disciplined. Applicants should understand that the Bravura Ensemble has the expectations of a Varsity Level sport or an Advanced Placement Class, (but without the homework!).
Tuition: $450 for Spring Semester
$50 Music Deposit Fee
Financial Aid is available based on economic need.
