Linda Lunt

Linda Lunt has lived in Elmhurst with her husband Jack Patterson and children, Eric and Emily, since 1993. Linda is originally from New Jersey and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. She worked at IBM for ten years before choosing to stay home to raise her children. Linda has always been involved with music, playing the piano and singing in her high school and college choirs and then various adult choirs including the Apollo Chorus in Chicago. When her children were born, she became introduced to the handbell instrument. Currently she is the Director of Handbells at Bethel United Church of Christ where she leads the adult and youth handbell choirs. She is also privileged to be a member of The Agape Ringers, an auditioned community handbell ensemble, where she has had the opportunity to ring around the country. In addition she teaches preschool music at Bethel Learning Center. Linda has been active in the Edison and Sandburg PTA. At Edison school she started and ran the chess club and currently organizes the District 205 Chess Tournament each year. Linda’s daughter, Emily Patterson, has been involved with Spirito! for two years and loves the challenge, discipline, and camaraderie Molly brings to the organization and is very excited for a new year of singing.  (Back to Board of Directors Main Page.)
