Christiana Wismer
Advanced Theory Instructor - Ragazze Elmhurst
A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Christiana will graduate from Wheaton College in May with her degree in Music Education. She is in her third year as a Teaching Assistant for Music Theory and Aural Skills at Wheaton, and hopes to teach and pursue graduate study in Conducting after commencement. Her other current musical activities include studying flute with Dr. Jennie Brown, serving as President of The Wheaton College Symphonic Band, performing and teaching ensemble workshops with the Wheaton College Flute Quartet, and honors conducting with The Wheaton College Symphonic Band. Although her primary instrument is the flute, Christiana has also studied piano for 12 years and sung in a variety of choirs and productions since elementary school. In her leisure time, Christiana enjoys sewing, drinking tea, playing Ultimate, and driving her Vespa. (Back to Staff Home Page.)
