Spotlight on: Christiana Wismer, Advanced Beginner Theory, Section 1, Instructor

A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Christiana is currently a junior Music Education major at Wheaton College. She is in her second year as a Teaching Assistant for Music Theory and Aural Skills at Wheaton, and hopes to pursue graduate study in Music Theory after graduation. Her other current musical activities include studying flute with Dr. Jennie Brown, serving as Vice President of The Wheaton College Symphonic Band, performing and teaching ensemble workshops with the Wheaton College Flute Quartet, and studying conducting with Dr. Daniel Sommerville. Although her primary instrument is the flute, Christiana has also studied piano for 12 years and sung in a variety of choirs and productions since elementary school. In her leisure time, Christiana enjoys sewing, drinking tea, playing Ultimate, and driving her Vespa.
