Auditioned Ensemble
- Age Requirements: young women ages 5th-8th grade
- Eligibility Requirements: excellent intonation
Curriculum: The curriculum includes the study and development of choral artistry, vocal technique, music theory, and performing style. Rehearsals are dedicated to instruction in solfège, ear training immersion, and music theory as well as exploring the depth & beauty of the sacred choral repertoire. The curriculum is designed to prepare these young singers to enter the Spirito! Bravura Ensemble.
Concerts and Ministry:
- Spirito! Ragazze performs at each of the Spirito! major concerts in December and May, in addition to joining the Bravura ensemble for selected repertoire.
- Spirito! Ragazze shares its gifts by singing at area churches at least twice each year in addition to ministering to the community by going out to sing to the homebound.
Rehearsal Schedule:
- Rehearsals are held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elmhurst once each week on Thursday evenings from late August thru the end of May.
- Rehearsals run from 7:00p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
- Occasionally, Ragazze will also have a Sunday afternoon rehearsal in order to rehearse shared repertoire with the Bravura ensemble.
- Rehearsal schedules are provided to families months in advance so families can plan accordingly.
- There are no rehearsals held during the summer.
Tuition: $350.00 per year, plus a $25.00 Uniform Use & Maintenance Fee
Financial Aid is available based on economic need.
